You complete your Client Questionnaire and provide all relevant supporting documents for us to review.

Phase 2

Research & assessment

Document review & affordability assessment

We review your questionnaire and supporting documents, check lending criteria and complete full affordability calculations.

Whole-of-market research

We research the whole of the market using Mortgage Source to identify the most suitable products for your circumstances.

Decision in Principle (DIP)

A DIP is completed with the lender, providing a lending decision in principle ahead of a full application.

Phase 3

Our recommendation

Recommendation & Mortgage Illustration

We present our recommendation and issue your Mortgage Illustration, setting out the full details of the proposed mortgage.

Accept the recommendation

Your action

You confirm you are happy to proceed with our recommendation and instruct us to submit a full application.

Phase 4

Application stage

Full application submitted

We complete and submit your full mortgage application to the lender, securing your agreed rate. We will also contact you at this stage to discuss your protection requirements.

Underwriting & valuation

The lender assesses your application and arranges a valuation of the property. You may be asked to provide additional documents during this process.

Phase 5

Offer & completion

Mortgage Offer issued

The lender issues your formal Mortgage Offer. We review it in full and issue our Post-Offer letter to you.

Completion

Your action

You liaise with your solicitor to ensure that completion takes place before the Mortgage Offer expiry date.

Phase 6

Ongoing support

Protection review

We contact you to discuss your protection requirements, ensuring your mortgage and lifestyle are suitably covered.

Ongoing mortgage review

We contact you approximately four months before your scheme expiry date to offer a full review and discuss your options.
